b. The M-cursor bisects the B-Mode image. The M-Mode scroll begins.
c. M-Mode status information displays to the left of the M-Mode strip.
3. To freeze the image, see “Live and Frozen Images” on page 7-11.
4. To perform retrospective processing (optional), use the retrospective
processing controls (available for a frozen image) that are denoted by

M-Mode Controls table (
Table 7-2).
5. To return to B-Mode (optional), press M.
